How to Scan
Within the Search box on Trust.med, select the ‘Scan’ button next to the ‘Search’ button.
This will pull up a new window and prompt you to use your camera on your desktop or mobile device, which can be used to scan the 2D Data Matrix on the drug product.
Please note that if you deny access to your camera device, an option will be available to allow access to your camera.
What is a 2D Data Matrix?
The 2D Data Matrix is a two-dimensional code consisting of black and white “cells” or dots arranged in either a square or rectangular pattern, also known as a matrix.

Trust.med provides a contact and product information registry for pharmaceutical trading partners. Trust.med’s Registry is searchable by product and location identifiers.
Search the Registry with:
- National Drug Code (NDC)
- Global Trade Item Number (GTIN)
- Global Location Number (GLN)
Search Results
Searching the Trust.med Registry will provide product and contact information of the trading partner in control of the NDC, GTIN, or GLN.
